4th of July Wedding at Four Seasons Vail
Once Amanda and Matthew decided on Vail as their wedding venue location, the Four Seasons Vail stood out as the ideal place for their mid-summer wedding. Accordingly, they made the most of the Independence Day adjacent date with pops of red, white and blue integrated into the decor.Â
Amanda worked with wedding planner extraordinaire, Kira Barczy to plan her mountain wedding. It’s helpful to have someone on the ground when you’re planning your wedding from across the country.Â
With Americana especially in mind, Amanda tasked her bridal attendants with choosing their silhouette in the same color of bright blue of the ties that the groomsmen wore with their dark blue suits. Amanda was breathtaking in her wedding dress, saying, “I’m in love with it! It was exactly what I was looking for – fitted at the top and then flares out. The top has a lot of beading and sparkle, which I love.”
An All-American Wedding at the Four Seasons Vail
The Fourth of July holiday weekend in Vail is the best time of the entire summer in Vail. Amanda and Matthew’s friends and family gathered at the Four Seasons in Vail, CO for a gorgeous, red-white-and-blue, all-American weekend.
Our bride, Amanda, and her fiance, Matthew, have been together since college. “We met during our sophomore year at college in a history class we were both enrolled in. Walking into class on the first day, he greeted me with a smile, but I didn’t think much of it as my mind was on school and the upcoming volleyball season. After that first encounter, we found ourselves running into each other on campus more often. It wasn’t until we were waiting impatiently in the sandwich line one afternoon that we finally had our first real conversation. That one conversation led to studying for our class final together and us eventually dating. That conversation also led to us living abroad together in Australia, graduating college together, moving to Santa Clara, getting engaged, and finally married!”
The couple became engaged during the pandemic, so they took their time to plan their big day. Amanda was born and raised in Colorado. “Vail is my second home,” she explained.
Fabulous Florals
Indeed, Vail, Colorado is particularly beautiful in the summer. Therefore, the pair chose to hold their ceremony outside on the grounds of the Four Seasons. “We are incorporating a lot of white and blue flowers to go with our color theme,” Amanda said. Local floral designers, Bustle and Bloom created a magical flower arch at the altar. “At the reception, we are going to add some red flowers into the decorations to bring in a little bit of red, white, and blue for the 4th of July.” Flowers included ranunculus, zinnias, anemones, dahlias, toffee roses, Queen Anne’s lace, larkspur, cabbage roses and also blue bonnets.
Happily Ever After
Four Seasons Vail is the most amazing destination for a summer holiday. While in town for Amanda and Matthew’s big day, guests had access to all that the mountains had to offer in the summer.
