Jenna and Andy hosted 100 of their closest friends and family at The 10th at Vail wedding venue, overlooking the most serene Vail Mountains in September. They met at a friend’s Denver wedding where a mutual friend set them up! They tried dating long distance traveling frequently back and forth between Boulder and Chicago on the weekends every chance they could. They quickly realized they wanted to be with each other more than just the weekends and Jenna moved to Chicago.

Prior to the wedding she was so enjoyable to work with, so communicative, and partnered great with my wedding planner Kira Barczy. Day of the wedding, Andrea did an amazing job shepherding the craziness that comes with wedding day. She and her team did a great job organizing everyone and ensuring all photos were captured. Timeless Vail Wedding

Jenna wore a timeless wedding gown with simple, elegant lines, and her bridesmaids wore soft champagne satin dresses that evoke an effortlessly elegant feel. Jenna’s engagement ring, a solitaire emerald cut set in a thin gold band, is a perfect representation of her style: classic, elegant, and timeless.

Candid Wedding Photography

Though Jenna and Andy’s wedding was fairly traditional, the couple left room for personal touches that made the day even more memorable. One of their priorities was capturing candid moments. Jenna and I worked on a photo timeline that wouldn’t feel rushed and would allow for breathing room to really be in the moment and capture those sweet moments between every flawlessly planned one. There was one photo that stood out to me of the flower girl coming down the aisle. The flower girl, Jenna’s niece, hadn’t thrown a single petal down yet and was already 3/4ths down the aisle. plopped one large handful of rose petals in the aisle and the exasperated ring bears looked positively relieved that she finally tossed the petals.

I met Jenna when her wedding planner Kira referred her to me. She was looking for someone that could handle capturing all aspects of her day in both digital and film photography, as well as videography. My team has grown to include an incredible drone pilot and film maker that works right alongside me. I love the final result because what Jenna got was a beautiful story told of her day. It allows for consistency in style and editing and we really get to deliver the best imagery to our couples.
