Rehearsal Dinner at Aspen Caribou Club
This Aspen Colorado Wedding Rehearsal Dinner at the Caribou Club was most fun and memorable for Hewitt-Anne and Andy. If you haven’t yet seen Hewitt-Anne and Andy’s gorgeous wedding at the Aspen Meadows Resort, stop scrolling and head there now. If you have, welcome to the precursor to their gorgeous day: an intimate rehearsal dinner at the Caribou Club. Hewitt-Anne and Andy’s guests gathered downstairs at the hidden member’s only club in downtown Aspen. This speakeasy style restaurant entrance to one of the most exclusive dinner reservations in Aspen. It is an experience all on its own. The door is marked “Private,” and the door mat is only marked with their signature Caribou antlers to let guests know they’re in the right place.
Wedding Weekend Portraits in Aspen, Colorado
Aspen, Colorado is a ski town that is known for their luxury shops, world-class restaurants, and rare art. It’s always an inspiring place to me no matter how many times I photograph my couples here. I always love when I capture the rehearsal dinner and we get to fit in some time for portraits. While guests enjoyed cocktails in the lounge, Hewitt-Anne, Andy, and I went around the cobblestone lined streets to take some pre-wedding day portraits in their favorite place.
Inside the rehearsal dinner at the Caribou Club
Capturing the rehearsal dinner is my favorite way to start the wedding weekend. I love the excitement and energy the couple has on the night before their wedding. This is usually the first time they are seeing their guests. For a destination wedding, the rehearsal dinner, or welcome party, is where you finally get to see everyone together. As the wedding photographer, I take the opportunity to shoot the rehearsal for more relaxed portraits with guests and candid moments.
