Aspen Meadows Resort Wedding
One of the most beautiful places on this planet is Aspen, Colorado. Hewitt-Anne and Andy had an intimate wedding ceremony and reception at the Aspen Meadows Resort the first weekend of September. Labor Day weekend is such a fun time to be in Aspen. The weather is starting to crisp up and people are coming in from all over for the long weekend. Andy’s family hosted a the rehearsal dinner at the Caribou Club to kick off the wedding weekend. The Caribou Club is a cool, eclectic western mix of art. Texture and rich colors ooze from ever corner of the member’s only club.
In perfect contrast to the night before at the Caribou Club, was their wedding venue, Aspen Meadows Resort. This light and airy modern space, mixed with art galleries and large outdoor spaces is unlike any other wedding venue I’ve been to. Aspen Meadows is a 40 acre resort with surrounding mountain views and winding trails. It’s a short drive from downtown Aspen but you feel like you’re totally secluded in the mountains. The reception took place at the Albright Pavilion, which is an all white and all bright, see what I did there :). It’s a incredible wedding venue with panoramic sliding glass windows that open up to the West. You won’t miss a sunset, that’s for sure.
The bridal party got ready at Hewitt-Anne’s family home. There she wanted to have a first look with her bridesmaids and a first look with her dad. Talk about water works! This family and group of friends was so genuine and kind. I absolutely loved being surrounded by them all day long.
